A recent wakizashi of mine. Forged 1050 steel, copper habaki, browned steel tsuba and fittings and silk over ray tsuka. I made everything on the sword from raw materials.

Getting fancy with the pictures here. My standard hira zakuri tanto with a copper habaki.

A layered steel tanto. Steel is 1095 and 1050 with just a couple of pieces of L6 to add flavor, around 320 layers. Plain copper habaki. Sold as bare blade.

Showing off the hamon. These early ones were polished down to 600 grit and fairly aggresively etched. Gives a different look to what I'm doing now.

Same as above, different angle.

The only european sword I've done so far.

Another tanto. Forged 1050. Copper habaki. Sold as a bare blade.

A nice katana, which I fully mounted for the first time. I forged a 1050 blade and sent it to Brandon Thell at Foreveredge.com for polishing. Found some nice fittings in several places to match up and made the tsuka and saya in a nice light green.
