This was an excellent show for me. John Greene (the promoter) has worked hard to create an impressive atmosphere for the knife maker and buyer. One of the things I found most enjoyable was the ability to sit and talk a with a numer of other makers whom I might never meet. We had people like Daryl Meier, Ric Furrer, Mardi Messigian, Patrick Hastings, Kevin Cashen, Ray Kirk, and many others all in one room. Before and after the show we all were able to sit and talk about anything knifemaking or otherwise. Good times.
Above is me in the center, Chuck Richards on the left and I'm not sure on the right. So many names and faces.
Here I am, doing as my wife says and holding still. That's my first fully mounted katana on the table in front.
